We finally received the much-needed rain we had been hoping for. The moisture will provide a big boost to the corn and soybeans and will help the new soybeans, planted after wheat harvest, sprout. Without the rain, there was a chance the double-cropped bean would have been a bust. But, with moisture back in the ground, things are looking up. Up next, bailing the remainder of the hay and doctoring a few bulls. The work never ends.
